Niels Molenaar specializes in real estate transactions, project development, construction and lease. His field of work includes advising and litigating on cases involving acquisitions, project development and commercial contracting.

For such matters, Niels acts on behalf of retail chains, real estate companies, project developers, local and foreign investors and banks.

Niels holds master’s degrees in both civil law and criminal law from the universities of Amsterdam and Groningen. In 2013, he completed the post-doctorate specialization course Real Estate Law at the renowned Grotius Academy.

Niels previously worked for Allen & Overy’s Projects & Real Estate team in Amsterdam. Before founding Mobius, Niels worked as a general counsel at Schönhaus, a large private real estate investor.
